WOMAN SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS FOR USE OF OBSCENE MATTER WITH INTENT TO SEDUCE A MINOR

LOGAN, W.Va. – Tiffany Virginia Sinecoff, 22, of Glen Fork, West Virginia, was sentenced on March 3, 2025, to five (5) years in a state correctional facility after pleading guilty to Use of Obscene Matter with Intent to Seduce a Minor.

According to court documents and statements made in court, on October 3, 2023, TFC Holden fielded a complaint at the WVSP Logan Detachment from a mother regarding inappropriate text messages she observed on her son’s phone between her son, the victim, and Tiffany Sinecoff, the defendant. Corporal Bowling of the WVSP handled the investigation of the matter where it was discovered through review of the text messages between the defendant and the victim that sexual intercourse had likely already taken place. The text messages were flirtatious along with pictures sent by the defendant that were seductive in nature. Furthermore, Corporal Bowling conducted a forensic interview of the victim where the victim disclosed that the defendant and victim did have sex three or four times. This occurred throughout September 2023 in Logan County.

The victim’s family was present for sentencing and a victim’s impact statement was read to the Court by the prosecutor handling the case.

The Logan County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office commends the investigative work of Corporal Bowling and the WVSP.

Judge Gilmore-Codispoti imposed the sentence. Assistant Prosecutor Shana Thompson prosecuted the case.
